Owl,
The base idle screw is at the front of the throttle bodies with a round wheel on the front of the rod. It has a stop and a set screw against it that can be adjusted.
I had your exact problem with my bike. 6 weeks of farting around between my mechanic and Triumph and they FINALLY changed the TPS. That fixed it. $90 part here in the states.
