Hey Fingers. Spoke with them today. Fun Bike Center in Lakeland has been very helpful. Service Mgr. advises she is going to "open a case", whatever that is, with Triumph. This is actually the third pipe Triumph has given to me. The first, the original, bad, the replacement one sent by Triumph was denied by the Service Mgr. as it was in worse shape then the one she was replacing, and now the current pipe I have. I have to stay on this as the warranty is only 1 year or 3750 miles. I did reiterate my offer of exchanging the OEM pipe for the TOR set up. She said she would offer that up again. If Triumph gives me any crap, I have no reservations about suing them in small claims and putting the district Triumph rep, the CEO of US operations, and head legal counsel on my court papers. NO CEO/legal counsel is coming to poduck Florida for a small claims case. I tell people all the time that my 20 years of experience in law enforcement and the courts has shown me that small claims court, used properly, can motivate even a large corporation to listen to you. The key is naming the right people on the court papers. The dealership said I'm not the only Rocket customer who has had this issue. Right pipe as you sit on the bike. I'll keep you updated! I'm confident Triumph will step up to the plate.
