I have a 2017 R3R with standard crossover and TORS. The exhaust gases on the left hand side come out hot and the exhaust gases on the right hand side come out cool. It doesn't look like there is much going on with the crossover, but the path the right hand side exhaust gas takes to exit must be different enough to allow it to cool prior to exiting. If that is the case, the standard crossover cannot be well balanced. Just an observation
Yep, I wonder at the thinking some times.
What I actually think is, they did it like this for a reason !
So what could that be?
Does it really evenly distribute the gasses/pressure between the two mufflers ?
Hard to say.
