2023 Triumph R3 GT, 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT,
When I got my R3 about 6 weeks ago it had a huge muffler on it from a Yamaha Warrior. Nice and quite but lots of back pressure , and looked like a small water heater. The previous owner had installed it to get rid of some loud drag looking pipes.
I installed a super trap Universal .24 inch long. Played a bit with the baffles. Ended up with nine. Did the 12 minute tune up.
Went a bit over 150 miles with that set up . Today I pulled the plugs to replace them . Their color was a tan color, maybe a bit on the light side. This tells me I am very close to the perfect setting . A tan color is what you will get if your air/fuel mixture is just right. I was told that if I did not take it to the dealers computer top have it reset , I could do very serious damage.
Plugs are now and have always been the best indicator of what is going on.

there is the reason why you have not seen much change. if you go to the dealer you can get the after market tune installed which might cost 50 bucks depending on whethter you know him or not. You will notice some more spunk if you do that. For now I would start thinking about Tune Boy if your wanting more power. in fact if you get tune boy you can stay away from the dealer as they have tunes you can load for free after you spend the bucks on their set up. It realy depends on what you want I suggest you stay with what you have and get used to her for a while. winter is near anyway.

Russ, I have Jards and had the dealership install the Triumph tune which is for the TORs. I am still running a bit lean though. It sounds as if you are in the ball park though. If you are satisfied that the fuel mixture is right though and don't want to spend the money on the Tuneboy, you might consider the GIPRO/ATRE. It will awaken your Rocket in the lower gears.

Have you posted a picture of your bike? I'd like to see what your setup looks like. I assume you have the stock header with the Super Trapp.
