Depending on the alignment, you may have to ease the headers slightly when you offer up the by-pass to avoid damaging the gasket.

Remember:

a) don't tighten any of the clamps until all the pipes are back on - you need a bit of lee-way when fitting everything together.

b) make sure you go back and check you've tightened up all the clamps and mounting bolts afterwards.

c) put a dab of coppa-ease on every bolt to make life simpler next time.

Not wishing to hijack the thread....but can you guys tell me if it is necessary to remove the headers to get the cat off? I will be fitting a cat bypass and need to know if I have to get some new crush seals.

I re-used all the seals but had to add a bit of this as well
