I know this subject has been extensively discussed before, but i have a Supercharged (TTS Stage 1) 2010 R3R and as part of the Stage 2 installation, i want to upgrade the headers to bigger outlet pipes (better outflow)......As the bike is Supercharged i don't really need to tune them for length...they are basically a dump pipe.
Is anyone making headers shaped like the new Gen 2 Rockets.....@Paul Bryant?
TTS make therheir own version of the stock header with much bigger diameter runners but it cost a motza.
Cheapest and best big bore header is available locally from a member here from Brisbane @ozrider who is a race car engineer makes them with single or 2 pipe outlets. @Claviger and @Kevin frazier have them fitted already in the USA and a number sold here too here in Oz I believe.
Hi,
Yes it's a carpenter system...The headers do get very hot the trick is not to get too close to them.
I don't really find the heat a problem it might be because i have long legs.

My rocket has the stage 2 and had a dyno setup at TTS with stock headers and tors fitted.
I must say there is a noticeable difference to bike since fitting the carpenter system.
