Hello,
Has anyone ran into this issue on a 2014 Rocket III roadster? And yes was Dyno with a power commander installed. North of $2500 in parts and labor and still having the same issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
Not sure what you are trying to show us??? Is that orange paint that's been burnt off or is that the exhaust glowing red with heat??? Guessing it's paint... Is your muffler partially plugged??? We need some more info in order to help. What mods have been done. Can you post the dyno graphs showing the AF ratios?
I have one of those headers on one of my Rockets. It runs great! BUT, mine has been ceramic coated, which does a lot for the heat problem. However, I do have many pairs of pants with holes burnt into the right leg! Ha! AND, I have a Jardine header, that without heat shields, I can not even sit on the bike, while the engine is running!

Hello.
THanks for the reply. I have attached the Dyno run. The paint was VHT Exhaust manifold paint raided for 2000 degrees. The exhaust is running heat enough to burn my leg after 40 minutes.
Seems to be uniformly burnt off so that's not too bad. I'd be suss about the paint. With a PCV if you have autotune and WBO2 you need to be careful with settings as it can lean out over time. As @cootertwo says ceramic coat in and out lasts and drops heat.
Agree with @TURBO200R4 since the air fuel rations look good (not lean). Horsepower seems a bit low at 133hp. That isn't much above stock. What other engine mods have been done? What mufflers are hanging off the back?
