Engine guards? Triumph or Rivco?

If you are installing the Triumph bars then you will have to remove the front engine mount. This is not difficult IF you support the engine with a jack so that there is no weight from either the engine or frame on the long bolt. .

My 2C... put a bit of loctite on the nut afterwards..... it might feel tight, but I once found the bolt falling out at a fuel stop during a ride....:eek3:X a zillion

As crazy as it may sound, there is someone, somewhere willing to pay more by buying it off eBay.

Yeah , had a slide a couple of years ago, the Triumph bars folded up like plastecine; however, they then acted like a sled, & saved damage to the side of the bike.
Ridden a rocket with Rivco bars, & I swear they felt like they were bracing the frount end ( good thing). They are very solid & link together to make a rigid brace.

And you can get them with a chin guard. I cant read the site tough. I lost my German glasses. I only have ones that read in English.
