EBC brake pads - How carnivorous are they on a rotor?

.. fear of locking up the wheel in a panic situation. Any had this problem ?

Not really in PANIC. Had one brief squeal and tail waggle. Low speed on a down hill bit in a left hand bend with the road also sloping off to the right.
Was more of an inducement to check the tyre. Needs changing.

Car came up the hill and turned left - narrow road. Generally I use the fronts but it would have been a highsider moment. Linked brakes would be nice.

I have EBC'S on the front (love them). I'm debating putting them on the rear for fear of locking up the wheel in a panic situation. Any had this problem ?
