G'day and Welcome from another of the Aussies. 3M wrapped paintwork sounds interesting .. maybe post a pic when it's sorted.

Got it.....HOLY HELL! This bike would. Have blown my CBR600 away without stressing. I love the ride, power, size and comfort.

I managed to bang out 150km already. I am a little disappointed that the stock exhaust is so silent. I expected a little more to be honest.

Congrats on the sweet ride! My last bike had a set of V&H pipes on it.. but now that I have quiet pipes, I actually like it a lot better right now... its just easier on the ears and I feel more comfortable knowing I wont be getting looks from people going "What an *******" with loud pipes. I think you will learn to like it! If not, I wonder if there is a way to make the stock pipes louder with out serious modification?

Ohh I agree... I had the Vance and Hines on my VTX1300 and that was too much. I just expected / wanted a little rumble.

James ,if you can find a set of Jardines you will get a nice rumble. I have heard both the TORS and the Jardines.
The Jardines sound better, and if you do any power mods later (and you will, like most do here) you will not need to change out the Jardines.

Welcome from Florida. I just bought my 2008 Touring and the previous owner upgraded to the Triumph mufflers without the cats. He also added a K&N filter along with a re-mapping. Bike sounds like nothing I have ever heard before but it has its own unique sound nonetheless. Not too loud and obnoxious either.

Like wake the r neighbours loud or a nice Mellow growl. I suspect the R3s sound more car like with with the in line 3. Is that an accurate assumption?

At idle it does sound like a car, but upon acceleration it sounds like a dump truck.
