How many people have dropped their rocket! I came very close, was doing a very slow speed u turn and decided to try and make it instead of backing up. It tipped and i thought oooh crap because of my fairing but i managed to stop it and pull it up. Felt like a heavy deadlift. Will not try and turn that sharp again. Rocket does feel like it sits higher than my raider did.

I have dropped mine twice. The first time I was doing a u turn from uphill to downhill. I walked it around the turn. What I forgot was that my left foot was on the downhill side and the Rocket was leaning a lot more than on level ground. The bike got real heavy and I let it go. It hit hard but fortunately the engine guards and leatherlyke saddlebags took the brunt of the fall and there was no damage. A local homeowner saw what happened and helped me put it back upright. That was right before my first paragliding lesson. I spent the next three hours getting beat up trying to learn to paraglide. It was a brutal day for me. Bourbon made it all better when I got home.

The next one was on a trip up to Seattle to see my brother, I was backing the bike up and my foot hit a piece of paper and slipped up and before I could get my foot back on the ground I went over. I got that one back up by myself. People walked by me and nobody offered to help.

I have dropped it in my garage twice but that doesn't count.

In my shop, forgot to put the kickstand down (hey, I was tired (too tired apparently to remember something simple like put the frigging kickstand down!!)). On the plus side I got to get good and awake when I had to pick that monster up by myself. (I wonder if you can get a wee gamma dose for a "Bruce Banner" cocktail for just such occaisions?)

Several times, when unknowingly starting in second gear, and making a sharp turn out of a parking spot or driveway, it stalled or started to stall, and tipped into the turn. Luckily with the engine guards, it only goes to about 45 degrees, I was able to pick it up myself, and no damage.

I don't admit to such things.......... well OK but don't tell anyone 3 times in 2 yrs.

1) Doing a full lock R/U-Turn on a really bad camber uphill bags loaded - stalled it.
2) Doing Right U-Turn didn't know I was in second ... soon got the GPi fitted
The Classic Senior Moment..
3) In the city center parking people admiring the beast as I arrived.. forgot kickstand
fell into the road on my back... thank gowd for the Engine Bars on all 3 mishaps

Bahahahaha sorry mate shouldn't laugh sounds like an episode of mr bean
