Dressed up Touring

I thought you guys might be interested to see what the Touring looks all dressed up. It’s a good example of a Captain let loose with a little money and no talent. In addition to what you see, I’ve got the K&N pods, Tuneboy 138hp tune, D&D slip-ons, Stebel airhorn, & Autocom communication system. It still doesn’t pull like my standard Rocket did … but I'm happy with my decision. Buying bikes is always a compromise in something. For me, the Touring was a nice compromise in power in exchange for handling, comfort & looks.


I’ve never posted pics before, but here goes ….














The handlebar gadgets are the Zumo 550, XM receiver, ScanGauge, heated grips and CycleSounds 3" speakers.

I'd write more but I live in Californication. It's sunny here and I'm going riding.
 
That's gorgeous! I can't wait until my chrome comes in. I'm getting all the rails and switch covers as well.

It'll be nice once I have mine all set up the way I want it.

I've only had it since last Tuesday and everyone always comes over to gawk at it wherever I'm parked. And it's just stock. Wait till it's set up!

very nice!!!! Is that windshield tinted? hard to tell. I like the chrome switch cubes. might have togo that way. I have not had anybody come up to me when I was parked. Although my riding season has just begun and I havent been anywhere long enough for anybody to catch me!

It’s nice to come back from a Sunday ride to read all the compliments about my blueberry cupcake.

To Mutt, yes, the windshield is tinted. I got it from aussiebiker.com in Australia. It’s 4” over stock and I think it was $299.00 USD to my front door.

Skip, I can hear the music fine with the shield -- even at freeway speeds with the D&Ds. I’ve owned larger speakers with more power and better sound, but anything bigger than 3” starts to look like tits on a spider. On longer freeway trips I’ll wear my full-face helmet with Autocom speakers installed. I could hear Abba at 120mph without any problem. Hearing sirens from the highway patrol is another issue. Just to be clear though, listening to Abba on a motorcycle at any speed is just wrong.

Snuff … motorcyle ****??? It’s just metal and rubber buddy. Come to think of it though …she does let me dress her however I like and she gets dirty on the weekend without buying flowers. OK, **** it is.

Harry, what the fark is a farkle?
 
Farkles=term Gold Wing rider used when describing all the chrome geegaws they install on their Wing. Can be used interchangeably with any tourer type motorcycle with no negative aspects attached.
