Dent removal

My FIL once told me how he removed hail damage from the top of his car with dry ice.

Heard that as well, Steel.
Cold rags are just easier to come by.

I gotta wait until Monday to get some co2 . Been looking around town for the last hour ,nothin open now.the dent is actually hidden under the tank cover so I don't really see it,just knowing its there

Got a ding on our ute door .. going to try that out and see how we go ... thanks.

Where you looking for CO2 Pete .. know you can get it big bottles but where do you get spray cans like in the video mate?

None of the hardware stores or car accessory places sell canisters so I googled and got laughing lizard breweries

Computer store look for the cans they use for blowing of motherboard... Contains co2 just have to turn it upside down to shoot out liquid co2... About 3-4 bucks.

Just tried it... booo. Didn't work. The metal is just too thick. Maybe a neo magnet and some steel ball bearings might do it.
I think what you are looking for is called paint less dent repair, I made my own puller and it works pretty good. You can buy the tools on eBay at a very reasonable price. Just do a YouTube search for PDR PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR, TONES OF INFO

Reckon it should work on a car door OK, depending on the type of dent. I bought this thing a few years ago called Pops-a-Dent. It uses a strong glue in the middle of the dent so you can pull it out. Never used it though - sold the car instead - but I still have it. I know it works because I took the car previously to a guy who used the same thing to fix all those little dings you get in car parks. Took him about half hour to fix 5 dents without any sign of damage or repair. Google it.
