Dead battery

Due to no garage and a shed full of tools, I'm forced to park on the back porch under a 4ft overhang. It's mostly out of the weather and I cover it if there is going to be rain. I can set the solar panel with a good southerly exposure and plug it right into the 12v to keep the battery topped off.

Anyone using a solar charger? I was thinking about this one...

I just don't see where being green with a battery charger makes much sense, unless you have no power outlet available. A Battery Tender Plus is the way to go in my book.

I don't have an outlet on the back patio, so my options are:

A) Run an extension cord around the side of the house from the weather-proof GFI outlet on the side patio. Looks tacky, afraid of leaving outlet open to rain and snow all season.

B) Drill through the brick wall, fish a line through the wakll and down into my basment and tap into a junction box about 12 feet away. I'm lazy.

C) Remove battery and charge indoors on my existing trickle charger. See "lazy" above.

D) If I move th ebike to it's own trailer or a shed, neither of which would have power, this solution can follow the bike wherever it goes.
