There are very few artisans left that truly know their trade. I can get some from Louisiana...legally. You can make it there in limited volumes as long as it's not for sale. I know a guy that makes it every year and buries it in an oak cask...been doing it his whole life...just like his daddy before him. Digs one up every year and buries it's replacement. Been going it for as long as I can remember. Occasionally they dig the hole for the new one an hit one they didn't know about. New is easy to come by as a "gift"...old is usually limited to a very few close friends.
