dark side? abs friendly

No, your speedo read the same. Your rear wheel speed/transmission speed wouldn't change unless your clutch was slipping. Sigh. Think about it.........Think a bit harder...... There you go. Got it now?

Maybe I should type slower and use a bigger font in these discussions.
Mph read on gps... rpm on tach... no slipping of clutch... no need to think about it... it works for me that's all that counts.

Geez I got love how easy it is to get an Expert Mathematical Opinion author all twisted up! I say let the Real World Riding Experience of Those Who Choose to ride a Dark Side speak for itself I have to laugh every time I read the same old dribble, here's a fact for you to digest and put in your calculated equation, as you lean on a DS the contact area is quite good as a correctly* inflated DS deforms and bulges outward which actually brings the rim to ground distance down similar to a Bike Tyre so the effective circumference does actually reduce just not as much as a Bike Tyre, the instances of DS going onto the sidewall are limited to one brand and model tyre which actually has too soft a upper sidewall therefore not bulging where it should unless much higher air pressures are used
*air pressure needs to be adjusted to suit the riders weight, a good rule of thumb is to start at 28 psi then drop the pressure by 2psi till it feels a bit mushy then bring it up 2 psi this can be fine tuned to suit each person, of course some may need to go higher than 28psi if they are heavier or are using a brand of tyre that has softer sidewalks.
Any way that is All I will contribute here thanks for the Entertainment and Laughs

I might add there are a lot of darksiders on Rocket and most that don't bother getting involved in these BS discussions once the "experts" join in as they are fed up reading the dribble from some experts that have never even tried one, I only respond cause enjoy getting The Exerts blood pressure up and have good laugh at the dribble

Maybe if I'd have put it this way you girls wouldn't have so much sand in your vaginas:

It's difficult to estimate how much a CT distorts when it leans, and it will depend on inflation levels, but I doubt the sidewall squashes down by 2-2.5" (unless it's dangerously underinflated) so it would be reasonable to assume that its rolling circumference in a corner would remain closer to what it would be when vertical, therefore throwing the relationship between front and rear out significantly in corners. I would imagine this could interfere with the ABS if the tyre sizes are too far from stock size. With the 225 rear, a 140 front would JUST be within reasonable bounds. Personally, if you're a fastish rider and like to push the bike through corners, I'd recommend sticking with a 150 unless you're going to also run a lower profile rear.

Just for the record, I have never seen another R3 running DS tires (for that matter I've only encountered 1 or 2 other motorcycles running car tires over the last 8 years) and I live in the most populated region in the entire United States! I ran DS on this and other bikes, as many of you already know.

The only reason I even mention this is that Darksiding is clearly the choice of an extremely small portion of the entire motorcycling community.

Oh this is just getting funnier by the minute!
Now your even repeating yourself the only one with sand any where appears to be You, Yourself.
I really couldn't give a flying F**k what you think you know, I am just having fun and like some others laughing their tits off at you, get off your soap box before you get so excited that you fall off
