Dallas/ Fort Worth (small) group ride today.

I hosted an impromptu group ride in Fort Worth, TX today as temps are finally starting to cool down here a little (95 degree high today). I’m one of the admins for a Facebook Triumph group for local riders, and we are over 200 strong, yet only 4 showed up today including myself. Pretty par for the course, actually. Anyway, the ride itself was just under 160 miles and an additional 20 for me to get to and from start/ end. We stopped at a moto themed coffee roaster in Pilot Point, Texas followed by some scenic backroads up into Gainesville, and through Muenster and St Jo, before heading back South to home. Overall it wasn’t a bad ride apart from some slow cagers bottling up the 2 lane road in parts… but all in all a good day. Along for the ride were a Speed Twin 1200, a Tiger 900 GT, and another Rocket3 GT (Storm).
