I sure enjoy my throttlemeister throttle lock ... it works great and there aren't any external parts to get in the way or ruin the looks. I had a breakaway style lock on my Night Hawk S many years ago, I liked it but I remember that it wasn't very adjustable while riding. When I locked it in place, it was stuck there until released. The throttle meister friction lock is easy to adjust while you ride, both the throttle position as well as the amount of friction. The adjustment is by turning the bar end (vibration damper). You can dial in a little just to take the load off your wrist, or alot to lock the throttle. But either way you can still turn the throttle either on or off without totally unlocking the mechanism.
