Does anyone have a set of engine bars that they can take a photo of for me please, need close shot of mount points, prefer to see them off the bike if possible but if no one has a set just laying around on the bike should be fine. Just trying to modify the forward controls i designed to suit crash bar application
cheers

First set are photos of the updated factory version with revised mounting tab but second set are 'original OEM version' copies below with thicker flat plates to fix problem of original OEM 1st release 'bendy' mount. These aftermarket improved copies work fine. Mount location and profile/shape etc is identical to OEM stock. @Claviger and I have used these and I am over 150kg and actually stand on them with h'way pegs lifting my arse off the seat as I press my back into my rider's backrest on long days in the saddle - no bending at all.

Thanks
seems to me the only thing required is a spacer for the third mount bolt and longer bolts, for my brackets to sit on top of the crash bar bracket. As mine are then bent from the side of the bracket that faces the rear of the bike the rest should be fine.

I am also wanting crash bars to work with forward controls, please post your progress. thanks

I had the Rivcos installed on my 07 Classic because the Triumph's were Fold-o-Matics. I have the Triumphs on my 09 Touring and the seem pretty sturdy
