Coolant Leak

When I spoke with the dealer they said that I should not do anything to the bike at all unless I was willing to potentially void the warrantee. sds

I hope you've got another dealer nearby. I don't think I would trust those guys.

Remind them of the magnuson moss act. They cannot void warranty for doing your own maintenance unless they can prove that your work IS the cause of the failure.
Tightening bolts and clamps doesn't take a Rocket scientist (well ok, maybe in this case it does); if you're pretty sure you can do it without stripping or breaking them, why waste the time waiting on the dealer?

Agreed!

I had the same issue, small drops of coolant under the front of the motor about a week after I took delivery. I took a few photos and sent to the dealer, he quickly got the warranty approval and replaced the water pump under warranty.

Ive noticed the same thing on my rocket and figured out that when the temp changes drasticly thats when it leaks. different metals expand at different rates i guess.

I bought a leftover 2013 roadster, had the 500 mile service done and the last 2 times I rode the bike it dumped bout a cup full of coolant from and around the overflow drain, overfill? loose fitting? have contacted the shop. BTW this is my first post

I should have mentioned that at the same time it would dump some coolant out of the over flow when hot, I found the raditor cap was not on all the way, I undid the retaining screw, turned the cap clockwise and tightened up the retaining screw and that problem stoped.

To clarify.... The coolant is NOT coming from the engine. It is leaking out from around the radiator, and running down the shroud on the stand side. sds
