Coolant in OZ

Could some of you Aussie Rocket riders let me know what type of coolant you are running in your bikes as I am about the change mine out.

Apparently I am a heritic for liking Boags in the south of the state by some fellas iknow :lol:

To answer your question ,I seem to remember the coolant i had leaking outta my bike was green! Any help? :wink:
 
I think the basic gutz of it is, if you're doing a complete flush and change, you can use any good coolant...??

Handbook says Mobil Anti Freeze mixed 50/50 with water. You need to get in 3.2 litres of the mixture. It's slow going, the last bit!

But the big rule seems to be, if you don't know what's already in it, don't mix in some other coolant...... might end up with a system full of jelly....

PS. I ain't wiser....!
 

but ya older! :wink: Ruzzles right, re; on total exchange of fluids...(sounds exciting ,doesnt it )Dont mix those brands or colours perhaps...

Couldnt find the bottle ,mate,either ,so a fat load of good Ive been ,except for extolling the virtues of Boags Draught
