I wonder if this is really a big deal and more like Triumph changing their source for coolant- like they have with oil in the past. Changing oils from the recommended brand certainly won't hurt your engine, but the advice not to mix different brands is probably good (but likely not that crucial either, as far as causing some kind of significant damage).
The new coolant says...
"D2053 OAT coolant contains corrosion inhibitors and antifreeze suitable for aluminium [their mis-spelling] engines and
radiators."
Pretty well describes the previous stuff too, doesn't it? Are the new radiators a different kind of aluminum?
To be safe, if you're topping off you should probably (?) use the same stuff. If draining completely to bleed the clutch or set timing, for example, I would just put in something that won't hurt the radiator and is affordable. like the Zerex.
