I started looking at coolants but it's making my head spin so I might as well order OEM and be done with it. What other choices are there that folks here have used and are available on Amazon?
Red OAT coolant is what's in mine (from new) & what I'll be refilling with. Generic brand long life stuff, it's everywhere & not expensive, just don't mix colours.
I spent a lot of time looking into this too. Confirm for yourself (I did stay at a Holiday Inn once- in the backseat in the parking lot), but this is what I believe is a good choice and has been in my 3R for 25,000 miles. I'm about to do the 40k service (late) and have another jug of this ready....

This is what I use. It is an HOAT coolant which is what the early Rockets called for. I imagine the new ones would use the same.
PS. The color of the coolant usually doesn't mean anything (unlike the old days). The make up of the coolant determines if it can be mixed, not the color. If the base coolants are the same makeup but different colors, then good to mix. Otherwise I wouldn't.
