Complete motor off a 2006 Classic, only 2934 miles on it. Crank case had a crack that leaked oil, I had it welded ( see pictures). Motor was removed by authorized Triumph dealership in Woodstock, IL. Video of bike running captured just prior to removal available upon request.

What is your asking price ? What is the history of the bike ?
The bike was sort of a barn find for me, the guy laid it down and then was afraid of it and it sat in his garage. I bought the bike and had it towed to the dealership, they got it running and discovered the crack and leak. While we were trying to determine our repair strategy (new crank case is $3700), I found a black 2008 motor. I had the crack welded, it was in the area of the kickstand mount, the weld appeared to hold but we never rode it. I swapped out motors and the original is sitting in my garage. I have a video of it running after the weld but the file is to large for this page, I can email it if you are interested.

Looks like a decent weld job....time you put the motor in and bolt on the goodies, you'd never know it was there.

Considering buying a 1969 Mini Cooper...

This would quite the upgrade, and make the car vastly more fun.

What are you asking shipped to Olympia, WA?

Used to have a little Austin Healey Sprite, one of these motors would have been awesome in it

Hmm, you'd have to modify the transmission to have a one to one output shaft, and then a means to hook it to a car transmission. With the right gearing you'd have decent performer if it wasn't too heavy.

Think longitudinal mount and RWD, it becomes much easier. I don't think weight will matter too much with small tire size to multiply torque.

Though, I want to put rocket motors in everything lol.

I'm asking $1500 for the motor, I have no idea what shipping would be but I can call FEDEX Freight if you're interested
