Clutch cable concern 2015R3T

Yes, if you do it the wrong way, the lifter will spin all the way around, and may release the spring from the counter catch, rendering it inoperative.

I had the cover off to get back to it -- no big deal really.
 
Someday I'll have a reason to change my clutch and at that point Eddie will be changed over to a external spring like the Millennium Falcon.
 
Thank you guys so much. You’re all very helpful. I see that these cables ain’t cheap, but that’s ok. Maybe I’ll give it a go soon, Eric
