I stumbled across an entry from 2020 that I found useful. I'm creating a new thread just to make it more visible....

I recently did some work on my 2022 GT that required disconnecting the battery for a couple days. When I finished and started the bike, I discovered
the SERVICE light (wrench symbol) was showing on the display. I did some searching on how to clear the light, and came across this post:

"If you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the service light (wrench symbol) will appear in the display. To clear, you just need to reset the clock & calendar in the HOME screen"

I did this and it worked. No more SERVICE light.

Happy New Year,

Hmm,.....maybe it wasn't disconnected long enough? In my case, I had the battery disconnected for a couple days while doing some work.
I can believe there's some residual charge (capacitor) available for a short amount of time to prevent having to reset everything. When I went
into the HOME screen to reset, the time was 12:00AM and year was 2099, so it had definitely lost memory. Hard to know
how the software is reacting. How long did you have it disconnected.

Tell me about the logger, why are you finding it useful. Troubleshooting a problem?

Logger "ANCEL BM300 Pro" keeps the last 20 days of battery voltage and temp. Values are available through bluetooth, doesn't matter if the bike is on or off. Helps me figure out the state of charge among my bikes by just standing nearby with my phone, no need to handle any bike directly. Also, after I download logs, I can figure when I last rode it and for how long, because the graph lets you know exactly when the bike was active.

I have the service wrench from my first service. at 500 miles. I did my own service. Is there any way to get rid of the wrench? Its nothing to do with the battery or time. I thought I could do it with the BT moto hand held tuner. But they said no.
