Want to Buy chrome oil tank

Yeah, me too. Been trying to hunt one down now for quite a while. They're just not to be found anywhere. The R3T looks like hammered crap from the left with all black everything when it's chromed out on the other side, and desperately needs that chrome tank to look good.

To make any Rocket look good will take more than a chrome oil tank. have you looked into getting your one chromed?

Yeah no chromers nearby I'm aware of. Might be easier to just buy a normal black one and ship it somewhere if I decide to go that far, the costs would start adding up. And yeah, the engine from the left hand side is just ugly, no two ways about it. The headers and chrome covers on the other side look pretty impressive, but the left hand side is just blah. I figured a chrome tank might lighten the impression a little at least.

Call and ask. I have a 2007 Classic.
Were the early 04 -05 motors that were different. I wish I'd have pulled mine off the 05 I wrecked. But with a broken back I was doing good just changing the exhaust, air intake, seat and a few other things.

Well the chrome tanks weren't hard to come by 10 years ago, but these days... lots of the Touring parts are also obsoleted, like the pannier guards, the rails for the front fender and so on. Fortunately I'm not a huge fan of either of those, prefer mine without but still.
