Ceramic Coating Exhaust?

DaddyRabbit...I think it was just south of $500...but it made the Harley almost a joy to ride...at least I didn't have the heat to deal with...though if you were stopped in traffic you could still feel it some...but once you were moving it was alright unlike the other demo Ultra I had taken out for a test ride without the ceramic header pipes.

Had mine done about 2yrs ago and looks just like Sinai's photo above. Pipes, headers, radiator shroud, no problems at all except the shroud. It is plastic and cannot be heated and it is starting to come off. The guys reckoned it may be ok, so I told them to give it a crack. No biggie.
Cost was around $600 for the lot
There are several different colour's, but I went for the matt black
No scratches or chrome showing through
The heat dissapates quicker, and the R3R pipes get real hot.
Done about 40k with it

Hi had the full Exhaust system and headers ceramic coated and find it a very durable finish and it does reduce the heat a bit.... Cools down much quicker!

Looks great, but that must be a ***** to keep looking pristine. :)

They stripped all the Chrome of my TORS first (extra charge) and yes there is a choice of colours. http://www.zircotec.com
I did the rear brake reservoir chrome cover as well. I believe they do a smooth finish as well now? Mine has a slight rough finish, bit like fine sand paper.
