The answer is yes from my experience. I had the job done locally for a bit less than what Eric paid ($175).

I didn't care for the discoloring on my stainless headers. So I sent them to Jet Hot Performance Coatings. Just Got them back on. IMO, this is how it should have came from the manufactur

Haven’t noticed any issues. I usually don’t ride when it’s hot out, but when I do I only feel heat from both sides. (Engine heat).

The exhaust system on my R111R was very hot, it would glow red in the dark. I had the full system ceramic coated about2012, has done 180k and almost as good as when it was done. A lot less heat and is pretty resilient. I am going to fit a Viking system to the R3 and will get it ceramic coated as well.
