Can't say I am loving it, but also not hating it - the trunk.

Caved in for some storage, so I don't have to take with me everything, now I can leave chotskies some with the bike.

Thoughts? For sure it is better without the trunk, looks wise, but, it is so convenient.

Can't do a backpack in South Florida. The back becomes wet and then the unending cycle while riding, the backpack sticks to you, unsticks, sticks to you, unsticks. Plus, you lose extra skin surface to vent heat. Then the sweat leaks down to your lower cheeks, creating swamp ass situation. And while you can ride with a sticky wet backpack, you do not want a swamp ass.

I get the "Can't say I am loving it, but also not hating it - the trunk" thing. It is not attractive, but it sure is functional. Sometime function has to trump form.

I can't tell from the pics, but I hope that isn't mounted to Triumph's luggage rack, which is notorious for snapping off when holding more than 3 kg (6.6 lbs).

are you still happy with it?
I'm debating luggage options.
I just need enough for my 14" Macbook , work shoes, keyboard.

do I get a 35l backpack? c-bow? or topcase?
it would be nice to be able tolock things down if I go for lunch and not have to lug around stuff in addition to my motorcycle gear.

Yes, still happy. Though, my load is rather light, like glasses, rain gear, a rag + a bit of Windex, spare shirt and socks, in case I get wet still.

Thing is, apparently the manuf rack can hold like 6lb only.. Or it might crack and you might lose your tail box, at worst.

I don't think you can fit 14" macbook in mine. Shoes will depend on what they are, if you are into ballet, it might fit... Keyboard is also iffy.

So, you might need a pannier bag.

Oh, thanks for the warning. I'm going to shoot for
with the underseat attachment.

sadly not lockable to the bike as it is. I'm sure I can find a cable lockthat should work at least as a minor deterrent.
They do have a lock that secures the zipper.
