cat delete = crossover

hello I have a 2015 touring rocket 3 I have had it remapped by the dealer (off road remap) and now I'm told it would be better for me now to take out the catalytic convertor and I'm under impression according to the dealer that a crossover pipe would take out the cat and the crossover box and with that replaced I could then keep the stock exhaust on, but I can't understand why people here say the cat is in the beginning of the muffler thus by replacing the crossover I would still need to replace the muffler, this seems a little strange as by looking at the triumph schematic it shows the cat being inside the crossover box...Help what am I not seeing?
 
Sorry Steel, but the CATs are in the Roadster and the Touring mufflers.
The Touring has the same cross over as the Roadster, this one .....

So yes, for the Touring, the CATs are in the mufflers.

R53123, are you looking at the right schematic ?
The earlier 3 pipe bikes have the CAT in this big box.
