Yes it works for me also. The new pipe making the same HP gives others a choice of what they like.
@BillB I forgot to answer your question on the Megaphone mount. Yes there is only one on the megaphone which holds the pipe securely to the bike frame. The springs on the headers are quite strong and hold the front of the pipe well. ( mine still has the springs and mounts under the shields. As Stripes stated his came off the header mount in the Ozarks but what he forgot to mention is his mechanic figured the mount on the megaphone was there for looks as it was not attached to the bike. Guess what? if you do not bolt any pipe on the bike it will come off even the OEM ones (after the shields rattle off

) Of course his Megaphone was different from any other Carpenter pipe I have seen. It had about 3 to 6 inches cut off it which made the megaphone about 3 to 3.5" at the end and someone welded a baffle in her.
Nice day today so I might try the end cap without the baffle just to see the sound difference between unbaffled, just a end cap, and of course open like Gabriel's Trumpet
