Cant Ride, had to sell

I understand your back problems.
I have a broken bone at the base of my back.
The doctor says back surgery is the most uncertain thing going and only recommended surgery if the pain was unbearable.
I go to a chiropractor for back adjustments to help me out.
When my back goes out every step nearly takes me to the floor.
This past March 3rd it went out.
I held onto the end of the bed with all my strength to keep from falling due to pain while my wife dressed me so I could get to the chiropractor.

Now I know you did state the neck injury but have you tried or considered a chiropractor or massage?
Maybe chiropractics on just your lower back to help ease tension.
Or massage.
I never had it done until it was recommended by my chiropractor.
It made a big difference.
Tell them to stay away from your neck.
Massage is primarily muscle relaxing which sounds like what you might need.

I sat on my bike (2008 Yamaha Tour Deluxe at the time - now new R3T) to see if I could hold it up.
I found out that it is not my back that holds the bike up but my legs.
My back was not involved at all.
I do have a backrest for the driver to help my back relax.

I thought all these wonderful modern marvels of science and medicine were supposed to make life better for people like you and me.

I truly hope you are feeling better and I hope you find something to help eliminate your back spasms.

Keep us updated as to how you are feeling and progressing and if you find something that works - let us know!!

The Lord's peace and blessing to you!!

Michael

Sorry to hear about your plight..being a contractor i've had a bad back for over twenty years. The only thing that has kept me going is my Chiropractor. I went threw three of them before i found one that knew what he was doing. Sounds like your spine is out of alignment and when that happens your muscles go into spasm. I ice my lower back for about fifteen minutes each time as needed... Good luck

Wish you were closer to Oklahoma or Texas I think I could get you some help. I think it might be the soft tissue in your back. Most regular docs do not have a clue about soft tissue in the back.
