Was measuring up to make bucket/shim tool and noticed that I have three Cam Ladder Caps that are cast with a dimple on the top Ctr of the cap , the dimple kinda get in the was of my idea of the tool layout , I can put in a recess to overcome not a big deal . I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the two different cap castings ? They look like they are in random placement , I know the dealer was into my engine for the first valve clearance check , wondering if a factory assembler grabbed into a different parts bin after lunch or maybe dropped in by the dealer after the F-Up Fairy had a visit ?
