After experiencing the loss of my heat shield bolts on my exhaust on a recent road trip, I enquired at a nuts and bolts shop ..(thats their name "Nuts & Bolts") and was offered these .
I might add that i had tried split ring washers and they didnt work!

No problems since....oh and I used the copper anti seize grease on the bolt thread as well

Dont know their brand or part number , I wil look into that soon.

Those ought to do the trick. I have the opposite problem though. I can't get some of mine out.

try ,WD 40 or CRC ,twist fastener whilst tapping with a hammer gently.

Next time ....anti seize on ya thread perhaps?

I've never had these out. The problem is that one has the allen head rounded off. What is funny is that I did not do it and I bought the bike new. I've got the tools to remove it though. I'll be installing the Jards ANY DAY NOW. I've got to quit talking about it and DO IT. :D

You must have your washers on backwards...?????

I wouldn't know. They were installed like that either at the factory or the dealership.

The Triumph dealer here was surprised to hear that I had lost one. He agreed with Mike - normally the problem is heat-melding to the pipes so that you can't get them out!!
