Blown Fork Seal after 18,000klms...wtf????

Last week during a ride I noticed oil pissing out of a fork seal. By the time I made it to the local mechanic oil was all over my brakes and tyres. After 18,000 klm's (10,800 miles) I'm not too impressed to say the least.

Anyone else suffered this drama? Am I to look forward to more of the same????

No wheelies old mate.....just a bad seal I guess?? Anyway, it's replaced and onwards we go!!

I had one go bad as well. Slow leak fortunately. Slipped the fork leg out and took it to the dealer. Took him a short bit of time to get it replaced while I waited. Less than a $100 if I remember right.
