Got new bevel box it is from a 2007 rocket iii with 2600 miles on it but it has a broken bolt where the shock bolts on is this a bolt or a dowel i can find out tomorrow when i look at my old one but really want to know tonight is anyone familiar with this bolt is it threaded or nut can drill it out no problem at work or out in shop so very happy with 450$ price

The lower bush on the shock slides onto a hollow dowel protruding from the bevel box housing, then a bolt goes through it all into a thread drilled and tapped into the housing.

guess i will drill it out tomorrow i will try an easy out but they are badly named will have to spend lunch money on a tap it is nice to be working in ft lauderdale loads of tool shops catering to yachting industry prices suck though

Drilled it out easy peasy when you spend cash on decent cobalt drills
I Had to use the bolt from my bevel box it was very tight and i had to split casing with saw to get it out be careful if you try to take this out it was fitted dry and I am sutre that is why the one on my new bevel box will buy new 10 mm 1.25 tap tomorrow
