Best Supported Country


Well the reason football (it's not 'soccer' ) is the best game is that it's played by normal people. You don't have to be 7 feet tall, weigh 300 lbs or be high on cocaine to play. And a group of guys (or girls) can play a meaningful game with not much facilities or equipment. I just wish I came from a country that was any good at it (I'm Scottish too )
 
It's SOCCER or is it SOCKER? It doesn't matter. We will take the names of games you love and change it into a game that has almost nothing to do with kicking the ball. A football kind of does look like a foot though. Does that count? I weigh 300 lbs and I'll tell you what to go out and play Sock her or Football would just about kill me now or at least make my ankles look like a football. I do like kicking the sokker ball around with my kid though. Good times. Anyone for a game of Fooseball?
 
Cricket is the ONLY game - one game can last for five days, and still not get a result.
 
That one confuses me more than baseball. I thought those were the bugs that sounded like our bikes accelerating.
 
Statistics show that a quarter of the world population watched the last World Cup, to the point of paralizing some small countries, yeah, Soccer is almost as big as Football
 
Ok ok. I'll knock it off. Bad Norm! BAD! I really don't care about sports that much. Watching baseball has become an experience which is different than just watching a game. I finally get it when people talk about the fresh cut grass, blah, blah, blah. All those folks coming over from Iceland is pretty impressive.

Getting really technical it is actually Association Football from back in the day when they broke apart and formed rugby rules and football rules blah blah blah when it comes to fitba the only difference between the Scottish and the English is---we know we suck they have not accepted it yet GO WALES.
where in Scotland are you from?
