Anthony, thanks for the guided tour up to Lake George. The group that I rode with on Sat stopped at the Burger Den again. What a great place out in the middle of nowhere.

It took me 11 hrs to make it back home on Sunday. Had to stop for a while and take a short nap. The Rockers kept me up a little late on Sat night. They were a fascinating group and I really enjoyed watching them.

Give us a shout when you're heading back down to see your brothers in Virginia.

Hopefully the link works properly. Pictures from the Bash:

There were approximately 70 bikes that showed up from the bash. Four Std/Classic Rockets and 1 R3T. Another graphite Rocket was spotted in town on Saturday but didn't join up with the group. It's the only other graphite Roc that I've seen other than Bobby K's.

Every Triumph line was well represented. The Connecticut Rockers made up most of the Classic/Retro line with their Bonnies and Thruxtons. Oddly, no Scramblers in the group. One guy showed up on his 71 Tiger.

Large group of Hooligans (Speed Trips, Daytonas, etc.) along with the Sprint/Trophy crowd. Largest group by my count were the Tigers including 2 of the new 800XC's.

The weather was perfect, absolutely perfect. Cool nights, warm days, and NO RAIN!

One comment, however, and I must try to say this diplomatically, the winters are extremely harsh on the road surfaces up there. Lots and lots of issues with broken asphalt, slumped edges, frost ridges, you name it. When you are not used to it, it is a bit unnerving when cranking it over in some turns.
