1978 T140 and the 2020 R3, back together!
The T140 was a 100% frame-off project with my own blood sweat and tears.
The 2020 R3 is all factory fresh!
Note the freshly fabricated Bag Racks on the T140... just got her back.
Two entirely different experiences... the '78 is purely mechanical and I know her inside and out. Everything has been torn off and refreshed and/or replaced by yours truly... brakes, electrical, Tri-spark ignition, side pipes, corbin saddle, frame off powdercoat, stainless spokes, three phase alternator, 7 plate clutch, heated grips, heated vest plug... Amal 930s (of course).... I'm about to install the LED light kit in the bucket and the tail.... and many more adds...
**I also ran all my wiring through my handlebars on the '78.. insanely painstaking..
The rocket is a mystery to me... i just twist the throttle and accelerate.
The two couldn't be more different.. the ol' rattle trap and the new technology. Love it!
