Thank you. So much to learn. Things like "fixings, mudguards and side intake covers (Bear Claw). All I have to do now is find a way for the local dealer to change my tires. Since I bought used, not sure if Triumph will send a letter to me in time regarding the recall. Then again, 1700 miles and don't push it.
Thanks again.

Even if you dont get the letter you are still eligible for the tires. Triumph wants all tires on 08 and 09 R3T's replaced regardless. If you went out and bought a new tire already they have a reimbursement program as well. But if you have original tires call the nearest triumph dealer and tell them you have an R3T and you need the tires replaced.
Technically whoever sold you the bike should not of let you take it (if it was a triumph dealer) because the recall was in affect 1 month ago. They should have replaced the tires first. But neither here nor there. Call em you can get them replaced.
Edit: Triumph sent a card to the original owner of the bike and hopefully he will fill it out to indicate he/she has sold the bike. This way they can find you. I would still call the dealer though and at least start making arrangements
