Bear claw help.

How do you remove the bear claw after the two cap screws are out?
See.s to be fastened somewhere in the middle top under tank.

There is a slip on - slip off rubber gromet which slides on to a tab attached to the tank. You will need to pull the bearclaw down after removing the two screws. Reverse the process when re-installing.

There is a tag under the tank that seats in a bracket with a rubber block at the middle top of the bear claw . so long as the fore and aft bolts are removed the claw should slip down and out !

Sorry to trouble you but does it take much force to pull it down?
And once down, is there another screw?
Or just 2 on the sides?

Just the 2. If you hadn't had it off for a while then it may be a bit tight.
