What's a battery tender?

Found this bugger laying around I aquired it 5 years ago. No remote though so I'll have to research. I run dual batteries one lead acid one lithium ferrous. So about 3 maybe 4 times a year when I remember I throw a charger on it.

on my 09T I have the pigtail coming straight from the battery with the connector exposed behind the right cover. I'll take a pic

on the left side the infill panel behind the engine has a knockout for a plug. Behind the panel is a connector for the Triumph accessory plug. Its tucked in pretty deep, has a wrap of blue tape on it. The Triumph plug is a din style but you can file out the knockout to fit a cigarette lighter socket.
