Hello all!

I just wanted to show everyone an option I came up with for a hidden charge port on our rockets.

Here is the waterproof sae connector I used. $20 on famazon.

I located a perfect spot to drill a 7/8" hole. I then heated up the splash shield and used a bolt and washer to form a recessed pocket for the connector.

Here's the mounting and and wire placement


Here's the outside veiw! Can't even tell it's there!

I went with the OEM din socket accessory
and an optimate to DIN cable

+1 here. Went for OEM myself, my dealer included it in the purchase of the bike along with the Triumph charger (Optimate).

Those are nice but the price and I really didn't want to look at the charge port all the time.

To be honest, unless you are looking for it, you really wouldn’t know it was there. It also has the benefit of being another power outlet if required.
Hats off to you though, you have made a great job.

I got them from a UK store called Trikstore.uk, they are different to the Lemonster ones
