Sounds like a good buy. I looked and test rode an 06 with 9000k's up here at Campbelltown. That's where my love of the Rocket started. Unfortunately for me they where asking around 18000 for it. Which was ridiculous, so I picked up my 2010 from Newcastle for 14k. Enjoy your ride we might catch up some time, as you said plenty of nice riding down your way. Any excuse for a beer at Kangaroo Valley.

Mate that sounds like a plan. Would be great to gather a group of R3 owners who live around our neck of the woods. @MickyB is also local to you and Im sure we could arrange a ride in the not too distant future and meet up at a local establishment for a beer and a perv on each others bikes. Lets stay in touch and maybe others in the area also keen will come out of the woodwork for a meet and mingle. Im only new to this forum and it has been so worthwhile. 1 sleep to go until I have one under me. Ooh thats sounds wrong but so right all the same.

Cool. Actually I was dragged up in Ctown (Leumeah) and went to school in the area. Wifeys family born and bred in Ctown. We are up there quite a bit.

@MickyB congratulations on your new purchase. Glad the test ride was as expected and more and the deal is done. I reckon we have been lucky to secure a couple of cracker bikes this week. That Black 08 RIII of yours is something else and I look forward to seeing it again.
Went for my test ride yesterday as well and absolutely loved it. Really liked the boards and the pulled back bars of the Classic were comfortable. 'Stupid Grin'. Then the bombshell was dropped. Due to a miscommunication at the dealership, the rego that expired in March wasn't renewed. I should have picked it up when they threw a trade plate on it for the test ride. No blue slip, CTP and at 12 O'Clock yesterday (RMS closed), I was never bringing 'my bike' home. 2 hrs up and 2hrs back (bikeless) was really disappointing.
However, the bike is now getting 12mths rego and is being transported to my door in the next few days (with a full tank of fuel). Not the end of the world, but you (all) know how excited I was.
