Back on a bike again soon...from Illawarra, NSW Australia

I shoulda read the whole post haha , looks like you got what you were after at a good price , well done mate , now comes the tweaking and tuning, ask @HansO about car tires for the back :)
Cheers mate. Yep sub $14k with all the OEM goodies, low kms, service history, plenty of rubber, 1 owner, immac cond and good rego - definitely done well me thinks. First step though, headlight relay upgrade. Just checking with previous owner if this has been done. Thanks to this forum I would not have known otherwise.

Good choice FunkySoulBro, and well done with your purchase.
I toyed with what bike to get the TBird or Rocket and test rode them both. I ride everyday and thought the TBird would be better for City traffic (more nimble) but loved the feel, power and looks of the rocket. I Thought fu$k it!! I'll get the rocket and buy myself a cheap, very cheap little commuter. I got the rocket and it was the best decision I made.
How wrong I was about handling city traffic thou ... The rocket, once you get used to it, is the nimblest bike I've ridden... No word of a lie. It's got power (as we know haha) handles corners beautiful .... Just glides around and lane splits lovely. Very light (surprisingly) at low speed and you can park it anywhere.... All in all an all around bike. I thought it would be awesome for runs but too big for everyday .... No way..... It's the cats tits for any everyday rider.... As I said best choice I'm made on a motorcycle purchase.
I just love it and the more I ride it.... The more I love. Who needs a commuter... Not me! Don't need it!

Have a great run home on Saturday mate, make sure you wear a full face helmet as your going to get a few bugs stuck in your teeth with all that grinning you'll be doing. Haha

So you like the bike oggypoggy?

I too was contemplating the Tbird after test riding a Storm a couple of years ago but there is just something special about the Rocket. I have only spent about 40 minutes on one during a test ride a couple of weeks ago so still a bit apprehensive.

Will report back in again after the ride home and a good floss.

Congrats on the new bike, you'll love it for sure.... Enjoy the 2hr ride home, you won't want to stop!!!
