Back home to a 25 Rocket 3 GT Storm

100% agree on your theory, since they havent upgraded cams/pistons/shafts etc, what else it could be other than a tune or filter to claim more power on storm? I would love to get a storm but i am just trying to make a better decision that is it worth it?
On paper, I can't justify losing money on my current model to pay more for the exact same bike

Would I trade in a 2020 + for the 25 Storm? No I wouldn’t just for the power bump unless you like the new color schemes and blacked out treatments and wheel design. Stock for stock though everything power related is improved and you can tell the very first time you ride it. In 321 miles so far I’ve never missed a shift into 2nd like I did on my 2020 or 2022 often did.

The suspension sounds like it may be better on the 2025 due to the rear wheel but I have to say again, 10 HP to the rear wheel is really nothing on this bike. It may or may not be good for straight shots grabbing gears although against a guy that knows what he's doing on the backroads 10 HP won't matter. I can't get excited about 10 HP although start bumping it up to 20-25 HP to the rear and now my mind is starting to consider the choice of a 2025. A Pennier tune will do that and more but there is something to be said about a brand new Rocket. Nothing like that feeling of getting a new Rocket. Hell, when I bought my used 2005 Rocket with 10K on the speedo I about crapped myself I was so Geeked up. Congrats to the guys that buy the new or older Rockets. They are a good time for certain.🚀

After a 1 year hiatus I’m back home where I belong. Having owned a 2014, 2016, 2020 & 2022 Rocket 3 I thought I was ready for a relaxed touring bike and got an Indian Pursuit. It is a great bike and comfy and quite powerful for what it is but was having buyers remorse from the get go. With a nudge from my wife to go get what will make me happy i gladly made the call to my dealer to get me a 2025 Rocket 3 GT and just waiting to get the estimated arrival date to take delivery. Nothing like being home again. Being this will be my 5th Rocket 3 it’s safe to say this is the bike for me.
What a wonderful and sensible wife you have. I wonder if she realizes how much safer it is, with its monsterous torque. No "sitting duck" terror on a Rocket. Its the Valyrie Rune for the here and now. IMO, the best looking bike and best bike ever. I also think it redefines the very definition of a tough-lookin' bike. How Triumph scooped the entire industry, with the current-generation Rocket's, especially the Storm, is miraculous. What respect I have for this company. No wonder it's the only major cycle manufacturer with hugely increased sales, while the rest of the industry is sinking.
