Much though it pains me to agree with Art about CT's on bikes

- There is a reason why a CT on salt may not be optimal. A smaller section tyre would be better - A V shaped one probably better still.
Pretty sure the CT is for one very simple reason - High Speed rating rubber (which I believe is required to run) without new rims.
That R3 needs a sump spoiler though - Salt damage - <shudder> - The front may even be a 120.
Indirectly - off road caveats excepted - Triumph is unwittingly condoning the DarkSide.
