Give the splines in the final drive a good lube I put the moly on the hud spline

I used caterpillar desert gold grease. Works great and is available at any cat dealer or online. It is a very sticky synthetic grease so it stays on the part other than being worked out of the splines and being flung off the part. If it's good enough for multi million dollar haul trucks it's good enough for my bike. Just my .02

can anyone list what's available for the final drive lube and spline lube here in the us? something that's high quality that we can get at honda or the local autozone, o'reilleys, etc? i recently got an 08 r3 classic and i want to go through all the maintenance changing out the fluids with something that's available just about anywhere. by the way, i really appreciate having access to forums like this. to me, it's a very valuable resource that we would not have access to without the modern age of computers.
