Avon high speed blow out

Nice save BigDoug...... something like that happens so fast it's sometimes hard to keep your cool and think of what to do...... my hat is off to you..... way to stay calm and collected.
 


First time, in 3 years here, that I've seen a blowout posted :shock: (not punctures) seriously scary :?
 
Good job Doug, glad you are safe. I am not to terrified of rear flats, but that story of a piece of chain on the FRONT :shock: Tire :shock: :shock: ? Not sure I will be able to sleep tonight!
 
Here is the straight on pic, bike got uplifted today so will let you guys know what happens next
 
Thanks for the extra pic Doug - looks even more like you picked up something....If it had been a problem with the tyre, i would have thought it would give way between the bands not across them.....either way, thats scary lookin.... :shock:

Maybe youd like to consider a car tyre..... :lol:
